Juice For Fasting – Best Foods To Eat Following A Juice Fast

Most of the trouble with juice fasting doesn't happen during the fast. It happens on the way out of it, when people go straight back to a normal-sized meal and end up bloated, crampy, or just tired for the rest of the day. Here's what actually causes that, and the order that avoids it.

Why the first meal back feels rough

Your stomach hasn't handled fibre or fat in a day or three. Hit it with a plate of fried rice or a burger straight away and it has to restart digestion cold — that's the bloating and stomach ache people blame on "toxins," when it's really just a stomach that needs to warm back up gradually.

A workable order for the first day back

Water first, before anything else — a fast is mildly dehydrating even with juice in the mix. Then something soft: a few dates, or a banana. Dates work here because they need no chewing effort and no cooking, and a small handful — three or four — is enough to stop the shakiness some people feel a few hours after their last juice.

Kurma Piarom Malaysia keeps Piarom in stock year-round for exactly this kind of use — it's a soft, moist grade, easier on a stomach that's been off solid food than a drier variety.

By early afternoon, a small plate of rice or oats with vegetables. Leave protein-heavy food (meat, eggs, dairy in quantity) until evening, once your stomach has had a few hours of lighter food to adjust. That's the whole sequence — nothing more elaborate than easing the workload back up over one day.

What to skip

Skip anything sold as a "cleanse kit" or "reset shake" for afterward — a normal meal does the same job for less money, since digestion doesn't need help from a proprietary blend. And skip alcohol and coffee on day one; both are harder on an empty stomach than usual.
